This is an extract from my projection footage, this was edited in time with the music and composed in order to be projected over my final shoot. It was filmed near to where I originally planned and all footage is coherent with my nature themes.

Change in filming plan
Due to problems with the weather, there have been issues with transporting equipment and band members to the planned locations. Therefore after a lot of consideration I have decided that I will change my plans for my music video production. However I will maintain some of the key themes thought up in my original plan; including: nature and low key lighting.
After looking at other videos from the same genre it occurred to me that low key lighting, along with the use of projections to create shadows, is a common technique used in indie music videos. For these reasons, I have decided to utilize these techniques when constructing my music video and create a video coherent with other videos of the same genre.
I will get footage for my projection in the same places i planned to film originally along with other locations to get natural footage for the verses and chorus. The breakdown will have less natural footage that I will film near the industrial part of town, at night. This night time footage will help create a more moody atmosphere in my video and will reflect the change in pace in music.
After the projector footage is captured, I will edit the footage to match the music and then film the band performing with the projection. I will film in the media/ film studio in college, this will allow me to capture the correct lighting for my video and will eradicate any problems with weather I may have had previously.
